Cowboys Vs Packers

Sunday Funday: Cowboys Vs Packers Showdown 2017

Surprise, surprise, I am super into football. Being from Maryland, we are indoctrinated into NFL football at a very young age. Naturally, this makes me a Ravens fan at heart. Let me tell you though, I am so excited for this Sunday. For those of you who don’t know, it’s the Divisional Round playoff game – Cowboys Vs Packers.

It almost goes without saying that The Patriots will clench a spot in The Superbowl. And as much as I strongly dislike Tom Brady, you can’t deny that he will go down as one of the best, if not the best player in NFL history. For the record, the matchup between them and The Texans is such crap! I mean, c’mon man!

Ok, back to The Cowboys Vs Packers!

The Packers

I love, love, love Aaron Rodgers, let me get that off my chest first. The Packers are riding a seven game winning steak, and that last game against The Giants was phenomenal. Even though it’s joked about, they really should rename the Hail Mary to the Aaron Rodgers. If you haven’t seen the play, you can watch it below.

I am no expert on NFL stats, so I googled, “has a rookie had ever won the Superbowl?” In short, the answer is no. However, there is something to be said about Dak Prescott. He has had an amazing season, to say the least. The last time I saw The Cowboys take it to the house was when I was in elementary school back in the ’90s. How crazy would it be if Dak had to take on Tom Brady in The Superbowl his rookie year? As it stands right now, it’s a totally feasible situation, and experts are expecting Dallas to win against The Packers.  If they did in fact win The Superbowl, it would truly be a Cinderella story.

Cowboys Vs Packers – Who Will Win?

Right now, I can’t decide who I want to win more. On the one hand, it’s the elite Aaron Rodgers, who has won one Super Bowl, and is two time MVP of The League. He is also back in the MVP conversation for this year. On the other, it’s Dak Prescott leading the Cowboys to the second best winning record of the season (13-3) after The Pats (14-2), with his right-hand man Ezekiel Elliott. Too bad The Cowboys can’t meet The Packers in the big game…

Who do you think will win it The Cowboys, or The Packers?

Make sure to tune into Fox on Sunday, January 15, at 4:40 PM (EST) for kickoff – Cowboys Vs Packers!  🙂
